The Rook One is what you make of it: A kick-ass commuter or a fixed gear shredder! Easily setup with 2 brakes in freewheel mode or engage the fixed cog and it becomes a very different beast. 

The Rook One features geometry modelled on vintage track bikes and is slightly more aggressive (chest low) than your average commuter. This allows for more efficient aerodynamics when riding longer distances. Constructed from super tough hi-ten steel, the frame and fork will last as long as you do.

What size ride?

Rook frames are built in 3 sizes. 50cm, 54cm and a 58cm. We recommend: 

• Small frame for 145cm - 168cm
• Medium frame for 168cm - 182cm
• Large Frame 182cm - 192cm
  
  

What about Gears? The only gear you need is go! Each Rook comes standard with a flip-flop rear hub which lets you choose between a 17 tooth fixed gear or 16 tooth freewheel gear. We've thoroughly tested both on South African roads. 

Premium Treads Standard! All Rook Cycles come standard with WTB Thickslick® tires. Perfect blend of grip and slip. Confidence in corners, and great to skid. With more rubber than regular road tyres, they last long and are pretty resilient to punctures.
