Tour of Ara x Simon Delores x Rook Cycles
A bicycle shop jacket collaboration
We’re constantly trying to find or create gear that we love to ride, and apparel we love to ride in. Not too long ago Zach picked up a killer jacket at a swop meet from Stan, founder and organizer of the Tour of Ara. A 6 day vintage bicycle that takes place on South African gravel roads which has global esteem.
Although the Tour is officially over, the jacket design was something that we really wanted to bring back to life!
In collaboration with original designer, Stan Engelbrecht, the jacket has been meticulously reimagined as a Rook Cycles workshop jacket.
In honor of the Tour of Ara, all proceeds of bike shop jacket will be gifted to Ara’s Poppie van As. An underprivileged lady from Laingsburg who has been a vital part of the Tour for its entirety.
